Jake Roberts
Jake Roberts graduated from Elizabethton High School in 2022, where he was a 3-year starter (2019, 2020, 2021), with 3 trips to the TSSAA State Championship game, and leading his team to back-to back championships in 2019 and 2020. In 2020, Roberts was named the State Championship MVP. Roberts played corner-back, wide-receiver, punt returner and kick-off returner. During his career, Roberts amassed 101 receptions for 1,698 yards (67 for 1,018 yards in Sr. season) and 27 touchdowns (18 in 2021). Defensively, he garnered 65 tackles and 13 interceptions. Roberts was All-State; All-Region; and 5-Star Prep All-Star selection. He won the National Football Foundation Mountain Empire top football student-athlete award in 2022 and was named to the 2022 National Football Foundation Team of Distinction. Roberts took many AP Classes, had 4.0 GPA, on the Honor Roll; and the Top 10% Award. During his high school career, Roberts was active in church, Boys & Girls Club, and youth leadership. Roberts will be attending and playing football at East Tennessee State University. |
